Dara is a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Plymouth State University. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. As such, Dara views mental health holistically and draws from various resources to understand the brain and behavior, especially in relation to her special interest areas of stress, anxiety, life transitions, loss, grief, and trauma.

Moreover, she views counseling as a highly collaborative process between the therapist and client and recognizes that each client is the expert in their own life. With this perspective, Dara invites clients to be an empowered partner in their journey through therapy and acknowledges that healing is a unique process for each client.
