Whether in a group or individual setting, I aim to create an environment where clients feel able to discuss their values, goals, and concerns. I highlight clients' strengths while also challenging them to face their discomfort. I aim to help clients navigate their own lives.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered. I mainly use interventions from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I work with clients who are struggling with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma and life transitions such as the transition to college.
Prior to joining Counseling Associates, I worked for a counseling center focusing on issues Anger Management, Domestic Violence/Abuse, Substance/Alcohol Use, Anxiety, Depression and Trauma.
