I believe therapy should be a safe space for you to explore and express your thoughts and feelings. I am invested in helping you gain relief from pain, learn tools for coping with life's difficulties, and ultimately move forward toward creating a life you find fulfilling and meaningful.

My approach is to help you assess your current situation by examining the biological, psychological, and social factors that are at play, explore your past in order to understand how it has affected your current perceptions, thoughts, feelings, and actions, and identify practical solutions toward acceptance or change. I draw from a variety of theoretical orientations including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) — and my work is always client-centered and strengths-based.
