Dr. Borchert works with individuals to reach their potential by drawing on their strengths and using strategies to decrease depression and anxiety and improve interpersonal relationships. Her couples work most often focuses on improving communications and enhancing intimacy. Dr. Borchert combines a relational approach with cognitive-behavioral strategies to help her clients achieve their goals.
Dr. Borchert has over 20 years of clinical experience offering counseling services to individuals and families. Her doctoral training included psychotherapy, career assessment, and psychological testing. Dr. Borchert's completed her post-doctoral training at Riverbend Community Health Center in Concord and New London. Her areas of clinical specialty include treatment of anxiety and depression, women's issues, couples therapy, and work/career counseling.
