Areas of Specialty :
  • Children and Adolescence
  • Self Esteem
  • Behavioral Issues

Client Focus:
  • Children
  • Tweens
  • Teens

My area of focus is with children, tweens, and teens with a multitude of complex diagnoses and family dynamics. I believe that by supporting families to better understand their strengths and areas of challenges we can create a more functional family system as well as empower individuals with mental health needs to learn skills, strategies, and self-advocation through utilizing aspects of CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, bilateral stimulation and family systems knowledge.

I developed my clinical skills through providing therapeutic interventions in a school system and community based mental health programs with adults. Most recently I worked within an interdisciplinary team to support children with sensory processing challenges, neurodeviance, emotional intelligence needs, emotion regulation, coping skills, and utilizing sensory input within my therapeutic scope. I have a passion for supporting caregivers to learn skills that are effective in managing behaviors while maintaining a healthy bond between caregivers and child.

I encourage the individuals I work with to bring their whole selves to our time together and work to learn their strengths, needs, and wants to support creating meaningful and significant changes.
