As a retired and visually impaired physician, I truly consider this opportunity to continue service as a clinician an enormous privilege. After more than 40 years insurgery and primary care my medical activity is now limited to part-time teaching at a medical school in the area, working with students just beginning theirprofessional education.

I am really excited to have the chance to develop into a real clinical mental health counselor (see MHC). To that end I have chosen to go back to school and acquirethe necessary education and skill to be a properly trained counselor. I am fortunate and grateful to Counseling Associates of New London and to my supervisor Ms Anna West for accepting me as a trainee in this excellent organization. I am presently seeing clients in person at the Upper Valley office on Buck Rd. in Hanover,NH. There is a possibility of providing online services at some point in the future.

My counseling philosophy is based on a person centered focus followed by CBT and possibly ACT and other integrated methods as therapy progresses. I have a strong feeling on supporting multicultural traits and would love to work with individuals whose life has placed them on the fringes of the mainstream. It would be my honor to welcome anyone who chooses to accept me as a therapist no matter what their individual circumstances may happen to be.
