Jared is pursuing a Masters in Social Work from Simmons University.
A former newspaper journalist, Jared has been in the human services field since early 2019. He previously served as a case manager for the adult community support program at Clara Martin Center and was the supported employment coordinator at Upper Valley Services in Vermont. Jared is aiming to gain experience in trauma-informed, strength-based and mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches and plans to become a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Jared also has a passion for addressing systemic barriers and helping those facing oppression to become better empowered to set and meet goals.
