Jim brings to Counseling Associates over 30 years of experience in the mental health field working with children and adults in both outpatient and residential settings. Jim specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families, and has extensive experience in the area of behavioral problems and school issues. Jim's practice also includes consultation to schools.

For the last 15 years, Jim has concentrated much of his efforts in the area of child and family services, with a particular focus on at-risk children and families. Jim has served as consultant to many school districts, helping teachers and parents to understand, diagnose, and treat behavioral disorders, both at home and in the classroom. Jim has also been an instructor with the University of New Hampshire extension system.
