Emily is a second-year Clinical Psychology PsyD student at Antioch University New England. She also holds a bachelor's degree from the University at Albany in psychology with double minors in English and criminal justice. Emily draws on her experiences gained during her time as a research assistant in an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) lab, as well as her time spent crisis counseling, to emphasize the mind-body connection she feels is crucial to the therapeutic experience.

Although she primarily takes an integrative approach, Emily builds her work on a psychodynamic foundation. Emily believes that leading with empathy and warmth is essential for therapeutic growth, and that healing and self-discovery go hand-in-hand.
