If you're feeling uncertain about whether or not to start therapy, please know that you are welcome here. So much of my work with clients is focused on getting to know the parts of us that have protected us for so long and are resistant to change. My work is based in the belief that people are generally doing the best they can with the knowledge and resources they have. It's important to me to honor the ways that even our "worst" coping skills have served us during challenging times. I seek to really understand where folks are in the present as well as what their goals are for the future.

I'm passionate about supporting clients as they explore new ways of conceptualizing and coping with life's challenges. My trauma-informed approach is client-centered and frequently incorporates existential elements. I often utilize interventions from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR.
