Deborah worked as a hospital chaplain for 22 years, 17 of those years at Concord Hospital. Deborah counseled patients, families, and staff navigating crisis, chronic illness, life transitions, end-of-life, and death and dying. She was a member of both the Ethics and Holistic Healing (HHC) Committees. As a member of the HHC, Deborah helped to develop and implement educational programs for physicians, nurses, and staff in complimentary therapies including Reiki and Aromatherapy to help enhance the comfort and well-being of patients, families, and staff members.

Deborah draws on a client centered, strengths based approach to gently identify barriers and collaborates with clients to develop personalized treatment plans to obtain sustainable change.
