Client Focus:
Kate completed her Master of Social Work degree at Fordham University and also teaches in the areas of social work and sociology at Colby-Sawyer College. In
addition to drawing upon her sociological training in the therapeutic setting through extensive use of a person-in-environment context, Kate utilizes strengths-based
and client-centered approaches to guide individuals in developing and working toward their goals such as anxiety and stress reduction, a decrease depressive
symptoms, greater life satisfaction and resilience, and increased levels of agency. She specializes in working with survivors of intimate partner violence
and individuals experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, and/or OCD, but enjoys having a wide-ranging, adult client base.
