Kenna is a candidate for a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. She has joined Counseling Associates in March 2021 for her Clinical Internship. Kenna strives to create a supportive, non-judgmental, and accepting space for clients of all backgrounds and identities where they can safely explore, uncover, and reflect on their thoughts and feelings.

Kenna utilizes key principles of psychodynamic, strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as other appropriately tailored approaches to meet the needs of each individual. She emphasizes the importance of collaborating and building a positive therapeutic alliance with her clients so they feel empowered to achieve their goals for counseling.
