I am Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience working as a therapist. I have helped clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting problems, and personality disorders. I also helped many people who have experienced physical and sexual trauma or emotional abuse.

I am an outside-the-box thinker, and my counseling style is warm, empathetic, creative, and non-judgemental. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral therapy, humanistic, psychodynamic, narrative, mindfulness, EMDR, and motivational interviewing.

I received my MSW from Boston University. Prior to becoming an LICSW, I was an artist and a teacher, with Bachelor's degrees in Fine Art (Corcoran School of Art) and Education (McGill University -Physical Education). I was also in the Peace Corps.
