I am Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working as a therapist. I have helped clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting problems, and personality disorders. I also helped many people who have experienced physical and sexual trauma or emotional abuse.

I am an outside-the-box thinker, and my counseling style is warm, empathetic, creative, and nonjudgmental. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I am also a certified EMDR therapist, which is a modality that is evidenced-based and highly effective for PTSD.

I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Prior to becoming an LICSW, I was an artist and a teacher; and I was in the Peace Corps, where I trained local athletes to be teachers. I received my MSW from Boston University; I hold Bachelor's degrees in Fine Art (Corcoran School of Art) and Education (McGill University -Physical Education).
