Devon works with children, adolescents, and young adults to help them overcome painful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Devon collaborates with her clients to construct meaningful lives
for themselves by practicing self-care and self-compassion. She emphasizes teaching coping skills that empower clients to confront life's many challenges with dignity and integrity.
Devon draws from a broad skill set, including mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Devon is experienced in supporting young clients who are dealing with a range of mental health issues, particularly depression, anxiety, and school-related challenges. Devon also has an interest and clinical specialty in supporting transgender, nonbinary, and non-straight youth in the exploration, celebration, and integration of their gender identities and sexual identities as well as in working with racial minority youth who are living in predominantly white communities.
Please Note: In addition to her work at CA, Devon also works as a counselor at Hanover High School. Devon does not work with SAU 70 students, parents and families at Counseling Associates.
