Bridget is a Master's level intern. Bridget joins Counseling Associates with a background in working with children, teens, and families in various settings including schools.
Bridget has an interest in helping support individuals who may be struggling with their relationship with food, body size, and body shape. Bridget believes our mental, physical, and spiritual health are all closely interconnected.
Bridget provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Bridget uses an eclectic person-centered approach which includes the use of motivation interviewing, mindfulness strategies, and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Bridget wishes to help clients recognize and draw upon their personal strengths in order to help reach their counseling goals.
