
Melanie Monk, LCSW-S, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor with over 25 years of experience. She understands that life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Emotions can be intense, and it’s not always easy to navigate the challenges they bring. She is here to help you find balance, build resilience, and take control of your emotional well-being. Melanie hopes to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. She believes that healing and growth begins with understanding, acceptance, and self-compassion.
Melanie provides services for people of all ages and stages in life and supports people struggling with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, grief and loss, trauma, family and relationship issues, couples counseling, LGBTQIA+ affirming and major life transitions. The modalities she most frequently uses include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy and several different models for couples counseling.
Outside the office, Melanie enjoys time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoys reading, spending time in nature and playing with her German Shepherd lap babies.
