Client Focus:

  • Adults

I believe that counseling is great for anyone looking to discover something about themselves that maybe they did not know previously. I value a safe, secure space for my clients to feel comfortable. I bring empathy and a genuine interest in how I can help you achieve the goals that you have for yourself. I have experience working with people with OCD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Relationship Issues. My approach is to guide using techniques such as Motivational Interviewing to allow you to lead yourself in your own discoveries.

The different populations I have worked with are older teens, young adults, and middle-age adults. I work from an eclectic perspective molding different modalities to what works best with the way you learn. I pull from CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness Practices, and Exposure Therapy. I have previously run a DBT skills group for teens focusing on distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation. I am currently co-facilitating a group for adults focusing on healing from unhealthy relationships.
