
Alyssa utilizes an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, taking into account the whole person and their environment. Alyssa incorporates modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, somatic interventions, ecotherapy, nutrition, and more to support clients in feeling more embodied, connected, and empowered to make the changes necessary to improve their well-being. Alyssa brings warmth and compassion to each session and offers a collaborative, strengths-based approach. She is invested in helping clients develop coping skills to navigate life transitions and supporting them as they grow from their experiences.
Alyssa specializes in working with those experiencing perinatal/postpartum mental health concerns, reproductive health concerns, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, climate anxiety, trauma, grief and loss. Alyssa offers in-person walk and talk sessions in New London on Wednesdays.
