Alexandra Bidoli, Pre-Licensed CMHC

Alex is a candidate for licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) who loves working with people from all backgrounds but is especially interested in working with children and teens. She received her BA in Psychology at Florida Atlantic University and her MS in CMHC at Plymouth State University. Alex is currently working on her registration in Play Therapy and integrates these techniques into her work with all of her clients. Her areas of interest are in helping individuals navigate symptoms of anxiety, grief, life transitions, and ADHD.

Alex believes wholeheartedly in the therapeutic power of play in people of all ages. She utilizes strength-based, non-directive client-centered techniques with integration of other directive evidence based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as needed on a client to client basis. She believes strongly in the importance of building a safe therapeutic relationship, meeting client where they are at, and working collaboratively to help achieve their goals.
