Abigail comes to Counseling Associates with backgrounds in farming, performance work, drama-therapy, mothering, communal living and community-action. Abigail’s clinical care interests meld with many of these realms in the form of person-centered therapy, expressive arts therapy, exploration of curiosity, self-discovery, nature-based nurturing, strengthening community ties, and exploring spiritual care.
Abigail has extensive experience working with children and youth in both educational and therapeutic settings, with young adults in clinical counseling settings, and with adults of all ages in clinical counseling, performance-based and educational settings. She works with people across a myriad of backgrounds and is particularly interested in expanding her work with young mothers and parents, as well as with those who struggle with substance abuse. Abigail’s counseling approach is strengths-based, holistic, collaborative, and creative.
